About this demo
The webpart on the right displays list items from the Phone List on the Example site. If you click on the webpart title bar, you'll be taken to the source list. You can do something similar with a Dataview webpart created through SharePoint Designer, but the Dataview can't easily cross site boundaries, it isn't easy to set up or customize, and it requires SharePoint Designer (which not everyone has or wants to use).
