"Sticky" Subdomains on Craigslist
In the web world, we try to promote using subdomains for discrete audiences: www.company.com for the public, mycompany.company.com for employees, partners.company.com for customers and vendors, you get the idea.

You can see the idea applied a craigslist.com -- they use subdomains for each region they serve. The cool twist they add is that their subdomains are sticky. If you go to spacecoast.craigslist.com on Monday, you'll return there on Tuesday if you simply type craigslist.com in the address bar.

I think that's a pretty good idea, and probably worth implementing... Let me get back to you on that.
